Review: The Crew Goes Coconuts!: A Captain No Beard Story Volume 6 by Carole P. Roman

22173484
There is a storm brewing on the Flying Dragon, and it's not about the weather. When the crew finds themselves parched and not enough juice to go around, blame falls on Matie the goat, Hallie's friend. Divided, they square off, ready for a fight and Captain No Beard must teach his crew that not only is bullying wrong, they must learn to value and respect each and every member of the crew. Watch the crew of the Flying Dragon learn an important lesson about being a true friend.

We received this book to give an honest review.

So I am still giving this book a 5 even though there was 1 or 2 mistakes within the story.
K loves pirates so this book is a perfect read for him. Not only that there is a message within the story. It teaches kids that you should be friends with people and not treat them differently.
You have a new member on the ship and her name is Matie the goat. But she smells funny, drinks all the juice boxes and that makes the  crew cranky and ready to call mutiny.  But when three crew members decide to be mean and call her names that is when the captain steps in lets them know hey you shouldn't treat her ugly just because. He has a clever way to bring the crew back together.
It is an important lesson I believe especially in this world of people being bullied because of the way they act, talk, or what they look like.

The pictures are great and go perfect with the story.
