Review: library book

Read how tarantulas defend themselves with their own spikey hairs. Did you know that theres a type of spider that looks like bird droppings? Learn all about weird spiders in this great addition to the I LIKE WEIRD ANIMALS! series. Stunning full-color photographs and easy text make this science reader a great choice for any elementary library.

This was a really amazing book. K read this to me before bedtime and surprisingly he didn't freak out.
This book was filled with different kinds of spiders (some of them I have never heard or seen before) we got to learn some more cool facts. We also got to look at some really cool and freaky spider pictures. Did you know that there is a spider named a bird-dropping spider? Yep there is, and it looks like bird poop! Say WHAT!!! K thought that was so funny along with the Happy Face Spider. Now some things we already knew because we had read about the spiders in other books, but there are a lot of new things to learn in this one.
I think kids would get a kick out of learn about different spiders and what they can do. The book is an easy read for those that can read. There is about 4 to 5 sentences per page, the pictures are real looking.
I am hoping K picks out more books like these because these kind of books are becoming fun.
