Review: Deep Sea Exploration by Richard Spilsbury

15060130

We picked this book up from K's school library.

It is amazing what you can learn from books. Especially the Ocean books because the Ocean is still a mystery on some parts. Me and K both learned about the different kind of equipment that is used to be underwater we even learned about a submersible. We even got to read about shipwrecks, and see the pictures of 2 shipwrecks! Did you know there are about 3 million shipwrecks? I didn't, I wonder if they have all been explored.
We traveled to the bottom of the ocean which is called the Dark Zone, and we learned about a lot of different animals that are there and what you can see while traveling down. Now you do know that humans can not travel so far down in the ocean because of pressure. It is amazing what we are learning and what we have yet to learn.
This is a great book that I recommend. The pictures are great and you get to see what lays beneath the ocean.
