Review: Because I stubbed my toe by Shawn Byous

A young boy stubs his toe, which leads to a sequence of silly events and a delicious ending.

Loved the chain of events that happens from the young boy who stubs his toe. The illustrations are greatly done to where it keeps you laughing not only at the story but the pictures. It is great for 1st graders because it teaches cause and effects. K loved how the boy stubbed his toe and how he ended up getting ice cream. My favorite part was the old man.  This is one book that I do want to add to our collection as it is truly funny and we can read over and over again.
