Bryan Collier turns the closet on its heel and redefines what it means to be a pair.

A and I saw this in the library and thought it would be a neat book. I happened to open the pages and noticed that it looked like an easy reader which would be perfect for her. She is picking up on her reading and this would really help her. She needed help on some words but it was not a lot. In It's Shoe Time! The little girl picks a pair of shoes that do not go together but at the end there is a reason why. There are puns that are told by some of the shoes and I wasn't sure if my daughter got it, but she did have fun reading the book. Overall a really cute book and one that I would say let the 1st graders read!!!
