What is The Underground Toy Society?
The Underground Toy Society shares their theme song, oath, and poem in a short introduction of who they are and how they help toys and kids.
This is a very short book to introduce the concept of The Underground Toy Society to help kids learn to love and appreciate what they have. The goal is to help kids want to keep their rooms clean and to take care of their toys and belongings.
While The Underground Toy Society hopes children will clean their rooms after reading the books, there is no guarantee children will want to clean their rooms. That is when The Underground Toy Society will need to step in to help the lost, lonely, or forgotten toys. That is where the other books in the series can be helpful to explain how The Underground Toy Society began and how they actually help toys in need. Other books in the series include The Underground Toy Society, The Underground Toy Society Saves Peggy, The Underground Toy Society and the Annual Toy Drive, The Underground Toy Society Helps Beary Bear, and The Underground Toy Society Halloween Scare.

A and I found this book to be a lovely rhyming book it reminded us of the song 1-2 buckle my shoe in the way it rhymed. This is a short introduction to what The Underground Toy Society does in a song and rhyme book which is all just a few pages in total. One thing I would add for the author to do is make the book fit the page of the kindle. The illustrations were cute and I really loved the hand drawn pictures they go well with what is being portrayed.
Hello Goodreads friends! My name is Jessica and I live in Pennsylvania. I am an Occupational Therapist, as well as a children's book author. I am married with two daughters. My girls are the inspiration for my children's books. The books about The Underground Toy Society aim to teach children to love and appreciate what they have and clean their rooms. Meeting Grandmom is a short time travel chapter book that would make a great bedtime story for kids to remember or talk about lost loved ones, or family members they never met.
